Vanessa Carlisle
 Vanessa Carlisle earned an MFA from Emerson College and taught writing at three colleges in Boston before running home to sunny California to finish her novel. She teaches creative classes through the University of California Extension program at Riverside. Her work has appeared in NinthLetter, Boink Magazine, WordRiot, and others, and she joined the 21st century with a blog about artists and art-making called "Gorgeous Curiosity."
