Melissa Lore

Melissa Lore earned an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, where she was awarded the Lini Mazumdar fellowship and graduated with distinction. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous literary magazines, including ZYZZYVA, Split Lip Magazine, The Normal School, and No Contact. She was a finalist for the 2020 Mid-American Review Sherwood Anderson Fiction Prize and the 2021 Masters Review Prose Chapbook Contest. She is at work on revisions of her first novel, a supernatural horror story set on Cape Cod. She lives with her husband and two children in Portsmouth, NH, where they perform together as the family-friendly hip-hop band, Rock Street.
